Approximately 4.25% of the human population experiences some form of color vision deficiency. Also known as "color blindness," color deficiency is simply the genetic inability to perceive differences between some colors distinguishable by others. The world, as seen through the eyes of someone affected with colorblindness, imparts a rarer glimpse of humanity's everyday existence, transforming the ordinary into the exceptional. Through decades of practice in an endeavor towards mastery, color blindness no longer hinders but instead enhances the eye as it captures the world behind the camera – one can learn to control it. Blindcontrol is the product of one such journey.
